We are happy to have you here at Green Valley Veterinary Care! We need to inform you of our office policies and if you have any questions, please let us know. You will sign an acknowledgment form at your first appointment.
Appointment Cancelation Policy
Canceling a scheduled appointment with less than a 24-hour notice or a "no-show" significantly limits our ability to make the appointment available for another patient in need. If it is outside of business hours, we can be notified via email through our website about any scheduling changes.
- A "no show" means the appointment was made, and the owner and patient did not arrive at the scheduled time.
- A "late cancellation" is an appointment canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours.
As a courtesy, we send reminders for appointments one day in advance. Please note that if a reminder message is not received, the cancellation policy will remain in effect. After 2 of these instances, we will require a scheduling fee to cover the physical exam's cost when scheduling any future appointment. This scheduling fee is non-refundable.
For new clients, a missed first appointment without prior notice will result in a required scheduling fee before any future appointments can be made.
Number of Pets Per Appointment
To ensure each pet receives thorough, attentive care and to allow time for clear communication, we are able to accommodate up to two pets per appointment.
We have found that scheduling more than two pets at a time can make it difficult to fully address each pet’s needs and ensure owners leave with a clear understanding of care recommendations.
If you have more than two pets needing care, our team will be happy to assist in scheduling additional appointments.
Surgical Cancellation Policy
If you have missed two appointments and need to schedule a surgical procedure, you will be required to pay a scheduling fee based on the estimate provided to you at the time of scheduling.
Surgical procedures require a minimum of three business days before rescheduling or canceling. If the surgery is canceled or rescheduled within three days, you must pay a scheduling fee based on the estimate presented. The procedure will be rescheduled once the deposit has been collected.

Client Conduct and Online Interaction
Rude, disrespectful, or abusive behavior towards our staff is unacceptable.
Negative interactions on any online platform will negatively impact the trust and rapport we share with our clients.
Such actions are inconsistent with our practice's values and can harm our ability to provide exceptional care. Negative online interactions or poor client conduct will result in the termination of services. To ensure continuity of care, you will be emailed a copy of your pet's medical record.
Other Policies
Any patient scheduled for elective surgical or dental care must be up to date on vaccination to be hospitalized with us.
We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for a prescription refill.
We utilize an audio-recording artificial intelligence service in the exam rooms to help maintain the most accurate medical records.
Only accepted forms of payment are Cash, Debit, or Credit card. GVVC does not accept checks or American Express cards.
We treat your pets as valued family members.
