Your First Visit:
We can not wait to meet your puppy or dog at Green Valley Veterinary Care!
Upon arrival, we will check you into an exam room and the staff will obtain a history on how your dog is doing at home. We will ensure vaccines, heartworm test, fecal test, and care is up to date. We will then present you a care plan to go over the cost of services that need to be performed, tests that need to be run, and treatments/vaccines that will be administered. The doctor will perform a physical exam and address any concerns you may have.
Trips to the veterinarian may be stressful for your canine companion. Before the visit, take your dog for a walk to expend some energy. This is also the perfect time to get a stool sample. Your dog will be thankful to not have to provide the sample at the hospital.
We want your first visit a positive experience. We will offer treats to hopefully win over your dog. Let us know if treats are not ok, or bring treats from home that we can give here.
